Senior Mechanical Designer

Position requires:

  • This position will be the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects
  • This position will have a minimum of one (1) mechanical engineer working under them
  • Project management of assigned project from start to finish including vendor and customer contact
  • Design and obtain quotes and order supplies for projects
  • Responsible for time line of the project
  • 5 years machine design experience (robotic systems, material handling, fixtures and special machines)
  • Solidworks proficient (3 yrs software experience)
  • Mechanical Design schooling preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of machine tools and controls/automation
  • Hands on machine building experience a plus
